Pro Analysis brings a new dimension of flexibility to searches while remaining connected to science. Use Pro Analysis to complete a variety of different research tasks and provide answers in a variety of formats. Simply add a command for Pro Analysis with your search query.

Pro Analysis leverages OpenAI’s best-in-class LLMs, with one big difference. We show you information that’s grounded in scientific research.

What you'll see in Pro Analysis

Helpful summaries and topic overviews grounded in peer-reviewed research.

Visualizations

  • Consensus Meter: Our flagship “yes or no” visualization showing where the research leans. When triggered, papers and citations are color-coded by stance.

  • Claims & Evidence Table: See the strength of support, reasoning, and key supporting papers for each claim at a glance.

  • Research Gaps Heat Map: Highlights and visualizes areas with limited research.

  • TL;DR Header: Get the quick takeaway at the top of the page before diving in.

Citations

  • In-line citations link directly to the research papers that support each statement.

  • Click a citation number to view the paper’s details.

  • A checkmark icon in the citation means the full text of the paper was used in the analysis. No checkmark means the abstract was used.
