All user and behavior data is anonymized. The only data we log for each search is the query text which is used to improve the search engine over time. This means if you were to use the Consensus API in a chatbot/GPT setting, we would not see any of the chat transcript except the text string that is passed to our API as the search query. Ask about pricing for our custom security option. There is an option to maintain confidentiality by logging search queries separately from other customers, or not logging them at all, ensuring immediate deletion where applicable.

What type of data does your product store, and how is it handled?
Our product stores only the text of user search queries, which is fully anonymized and inaccessible to any external parties. If required, we can specifically flag and immediately delete any searches conducted by users from your organization.
How is the stored search data utilized?
The stored search data is utilized to guide our overall product development by analyzing the general interests of our users and the structure of their queries. Should you wish, we can also arrange to delete and refrain from storing any data generated by users.
What sources does your product use to gather information, and what improvements are planned?
Currently, we utilize only the abstracts of documents to locate papers and extract relevant information, enhancing the precision of matching queries. We are progressing towards integrating full text access into our features.
How will our organization's data be managed?
Your organization's data will be stored separately from our main database and will only be accessible by your users. We are prepared to document any specific handling requirements in our contract to ensure compliance with your needs.
