Consensus gives you flexibility in how you review your search results. You can format the list of papers in three different views:

  1. Default View

  2. Compact View

  3. Table View

You can switch between views using the buttons at the top right of your search results.

Default View

The Default view displays:

  • Paper title

  • Year published

  • Number of citations

  • Authors

  • Journal

  • Key takeaway (a concise summary of the paper’s main finding)

This view balances detail and readability, making it a great choice for quickly browsing results.

Compact View

The Compact view includes everything in Default View except the key takeaway.
This is useful if you want to scroll through more results at once without the added text.

Table View

The Table View allows you to extract and compare study attributes side by side. For each paper, the table may include:

  • Answer (key takeaway)

  • Population

  • Methods

  • Results

  • Outcomes

  • Sample size

  • Study count

  • Duration

  • Country

Please note: we are not always able to extract all of these details for every paper. If information isn’t available, some fields may appear blank.

Table View Access Limits

Depending on your plan, you can analyze different numbers of papers in Table View:

  • Free users: Compare up to 3 papers per query

  • Pro subscribers: Extract data from up to 20 papers per query

  • Deep subscribers: Evaluate up to 50 papers per query
